Duro Olowu A/W ‘12. Everyone is sucking shit at NY Fashion Week right now, even the people the mags are raving about are wack. As I told Judnick, Jason Wu looked like better-tailored Baby Phat ca. 2007, and even the best parts of Prabal Gurung were direct rips from Givenchy couture A/W ‘11. Everyone else seems to be translating some misguided notion of “austerity” into no prints, overly simple tailoring, and a paucity of ideas. That said, as usual Duro Olowu fucking brought it.
