SO FASCINATED BY KANYE’S ‘90S FASHION MAG-STYLE FIXATION ON DEAD-LOOKING WHITE MODELS. Did dude just now discover Steven Meisel’s back catalog or something? Was all over his GOOD Friday cover art, the original/banned cover painting Corso did which I loved and needs a super-critique, and now this. Shit is crazy multilayered race and gender wise, particularly when you fold in his deliberate employment of monster imagery. Will break it down when I have more time.
Still can’t listen to the album yet though. Need the dude to be out my face for a hot minute before I can hear it objectively.
