UM SO the dude who directed Mykki’s “Join My Militia” also directed this video by Anais Aida, who I actually got into via the soundcloud of Arca (who produced “Join My Militia”). Didn’t know there was a video for this song but it’s gorgeous, SHOUT TO MITCH MOORE ON THE COME-UP. Anais Aida is super important. I’m getting a little Tweet from this song but I think it’s mostly because of the melody and pared-down beat. Maybe so, though, she’s got that languid sultry warble and subtext of heat.
