HEY I NEED AN INTERN! HERE IS THE BIZ:

I’m in Brooklyn and I need someone New York-based to help me out a couple times a week. The bulk of it will be transcribing interviews (which is the best way to learn how to interview, yourself) but also some organizing of emails/promos, a little research. Very low-impact, but quick transcription skills and flexible availability are crucial. I really need someone who’s well-versed in current music (particularly hip-hop and electronic) and would ideally like to write about music, or is currently doing so on yr Tumblr or blog or whatever. Politically-minded is a PLUS. NICE PERSONALITY ESSENTIAL. You could work remotely tho I might make you come over a couple times a month for whatever reason, and it’s unpaid (I freelance!) but I’ll compensate you in fine dining and drinks every couple weeks plus KNOWLEDGE. (I’ve been writing and editing professionally about music, style, pop culture, and politics for a ridiculous 13 years, have worked at or been published in like every music magazine ever, and I CAN TEACH U CHIT FOR REAL). This would be a summer thing, SO IF YR OFF SCHOOL AND KINDA BUMMIN AROUND, MAYBE THIS THING IS FOR YOU!
